This cartoon is a bit of a departure. More subtle, less dialogue dependent. It would have benefited from being larger, but I am a slave to my format, and I edited it down as much as I could (see last week's entry, written as I was about to undertake doing so).
I like it when the end of the first row of panels corresponds to a shift in mood or scene. In this case, the top row takes place in the hallway (which is in Princess Margaret Hospital, in case you were wondering), and the bottom row takes place inside Raj's hospital room. At times I try to place a mid-point punchline at the end of the first row. Form follows content.
