I was sketching condos from a bus on my way out of Toronto a few weeks ago. Sure, they increase density -- more people living closer together means more efficient use of resources and less sprawl. But do they have to be such an urban planning nightmare? It's all a get-rich plan for developers.
I was thinking of doing a cartoon in which a report recommends they be buried with the Gardiner. But after that point of departure, I couldn't flesh out an entire comic strip.
