Frank makes an appearance here, after a longish absence. He's one of my favourite characters, as he and Horst have the best arguments.
I've got a few of plot strands happening and am finding it tricky keeping them all in the air. Raj is still in Afghanistan, in the hands of terrorists (who mistakenly kidnapped him, thinking he was a Dane - see here); Horst and Celia are still trying to get pregnant; Cosmo is having an e-lationship with a fellow avid blogger. Often the politics of the day get in the way and the plots get set on the back burner.
If you need a refresher on any of these subplots, check out the archive by character and trace your way backwards and forwards. The archive also divides by theme. It includes all of 2005; I hope to get 2004 up in the next month or two.

Attack of the Same-Sex Sleeper Cells Reviews:
Exclaim! says: "Slyly meshing Doonesbury politics, slacker culture and relationship dramas, Lind accomplishes a remarkable balancing act. …Smartly political without being preachy, (Weltschmerz is) a current jolt of satire served with a soothing cup of interpersonal angst.?
Eye Weekly says: "Weltschmerz successfully straddles the line between humorous and depressing, taking well-deserved punches at some of the most infuriating political events and trends of 2005."
Echo says: "Mating excellence in design and print quality and Lind’s thoughtful and incisive social commentary, the inaugural collection from the Weltschmerz series sets a high standard."
